    Countertops Description

    GEOS is a durable, non-porous surface made from a terrazzo-style blend of pre- and post-consumer recycled glass bound with proprietary resin. It fabricates and performs like engineered stone, requires no sealing, and offers a sustainable, visually striking alternative for residential and commercial applications.

    What It’s Made Of:
    Crushed recycled glass, and pigments bound together with a polymerized orthophthalic polyester resin. Selected colors also contain sea shells. Does not contain cement. Crystalline Silica free

    Material Edge:
    Edges should be rounded or chamfered to a minimum of 0.0625 in. Inside corners without a seam require a minimum of 0.25 in radius to reduce stress. Does not apply to two-piece seamed solutions. Outside corners should have a minimum radius of 0.125 in

    Installation Guidelines:
    Stone working/diamond tooling must be used for cutting, shaping, and polishing. Do not install on any cabinet or base that cannot support a minimum of 18 lbs/sqft. Seams must be supported on both sides of the seam on front and back. Seaming over or through an appliance is not recommended. Recommended seam width is less than 0.0625in. Adhere to cabinets or base using dabs of flexible adhesive. Do not use mechanical fasteners directly with the surface or install over existing countertops. Refer to the Fabrication and Installation Guide for additional information

    Care Instructions:
    Simply wipe the surface using a damp soft cloth. To remove surface debris, use a soft cloth and mild cleaner. Cleaning products should be free of chlorine bleach, ammonia, citric acid or other acids. For items that have adhered themselves to the surface, such as mustard, gum, etc. use a razor blade at a 45-degree angle to the surface and scrape with light pressure to loosen the item. Remove remaining residue with a soft cloth and cleaner. Never use bleach, oven cleaners, Comet®, Soft Scrub®, SOS®, Lime Away®, products with pumice, batteries, paint removers, furniture strippers, citrus based cleaners, tarnish or silver cleaners, as these contain harsh chemicals and/or abrasives that can damage the surface
    Notes from the Brand:
    Minor variations in the surface may be felt with a bare hand. These are part of the aesthetic and are not a defect unless they are deeper than 0.0625in. Be careful not to damage surface by sudden changes in temperature. The use of a hot pad or trivet is always recommended to prevent thermal shock
