    Red Oak is valued for its timeless appeal in kitchen décor. Red Oak displays warm tones from pink to reddish-brown and a prominent, open grain with cathedral-like patterns. It has a coarse texture and large pores. May display medullary rays, which are darker flecks in the grain Janka hardness: 1,220 ibf.
