    Walnut is revered for its dramatic shift in tone and inherently luxurious appearance. Walnut features rich brown heartwood, pale cream sapwood, and a fine, semi-open grain that may be straight or wavy. Color variation depends on board origin. Janka hardness: 1,010 lbf.
