In particular, the Tuscan city of Prato has been a hub for weavers since the Renaissance, and remains the largest producer in the country. Ever evolving innovation and techniques, especially in wool and linen, produce textures and styles found nowhere else in the world. Our Prato Linen, was created as the perfect “canvas” to dream up any design under the sun. The ground cloth for many of the prints in our collection, Prato has a tight weave with a beautiful hand well suited to drapery, pillows, and light- to moderate-use upholstery.
