- Use a clean, damp, soft cloth and a mild liquid detergent or household cleaner. Never use abrasive pads, scouring powders or cleaners containing acid, alkali, or sodium hypochlorite. These cleaners will mar, etch, corrode, and permanently discolor the laminate surface
