Well, I’m a maximalist and this homeowner loves seafoam green! This is also a large kitchen, so there’s plenty of storage without uppers. A kitchen feels so much lighter without them.

The floor looks like white oak but is a ceramic tile because it’s so easy to maintain. Then there’s both white oak and painted lower cabinets. The tile walls are actually painted marble from Stone Impressions and then a coffered ceiling with a wood veneer wall covering in between coffers. I always advise…never forget the fifth wall!

Window shades are so important as they finish the look and absorb sound. The scallop detail here helps marry everything together. This is an indoor-outdoor performance fabric which can take more than a traditional one.

The ceiling coffers and cabinets are Farrow & Ball Green Blue. And for a neutral white, we use Chantilly Lace from Benjamin Moore because it’s not too warm nor too cold — and it has depth.
